Exploring Particle Physics: Hands-on methods using LHC data

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of the ATLAS detector at the LHC, discuss how particle identification is done and highlight the latest LHC results. The lecture will be coupled to a tutorial where we will implement some of the basic experimental methods discussed in the lecture using real ATLAS data.
