The first term in DSE consists of all the mandatory modules (except for the internship) in order to provide you with all the foundations required for the internship as well as for the compulsory elective modules.
Below, we compiled a table with important contacts and links of all the mandatory modules in the first term. Some of them use OPAL, some of them provide all material on their own web pages.
As every lecturer is in charge of its own lecture, there might be severe differences in how the lectures, seminars, tutorials, etc. are conducted. Please always check their websites and get in contact with the lecturers if you find any issues. Please also keep in mind that all lectures are also available for other students than DSE students. All the modules / lectures below can also be attended by many others of our approximately 2500 students (of our faculty). Lecturers need to find solutions for all attendees, so sometimes it might not be the best suitable option for you – anyway, if you face problems, get in contact with the lecturers.
