Seit dem Wintersemester 2021/22 gibt es die Lehrveranstaltung SustainAbility: Nachhaltigkeit verstehen und umsetzen, (ehemals Grundvorlesung zu ökologischer Nachhaltigkeit) an der TU Dresden. Von Studierenden organisiert bietet diese Ringvorlesung die Möglichkeit, sich aus verschiedenen Perspektiven mit ökologischer Nachhaltigkeit auseinanderzusetzen.
Die Vorlesung ist so konzipiert, dass sie möglichst viele Menschen abholt. Das bedeutet, dass sowohl Schüler:innen der Oberstufe, Studienanfänger:innen, Studierende höherer Fachsemester als auch Mitarbeiter:innen bis hin zu Senior:innen außerhalb der TUD mit oder ohne Vorwissen daran teilzunehmen können ohne sich zu langweilen. Inhalte werden niedrigschwellig präsentiert und verständlich dargestellt. Die Grundvorlesung unterscheidet sich dahingehend von den thematisch tiefergehenden bekannten Umweltringvorlesungen der Tuuwi.
Für Studierende gibt es die Möglichkeit grundlegende Inhalte mit studiengangsspezifischen Themen zu verknüpfen. Da das Thema auch im Hochschulkontext von höchster Relevanz ist, können Studierende im Rahmen des studium generale bei erfolgreicher Teilnahme Credits erhalten. Außerdem kann die Veranstaltung auch mit einer Prüfungsleistung (3 Credits im ECTS) abgeschlossen werden. Überdies besteht die Möglichkeit sich diesen Kurs für das Studium Oecologicum anrechnen zu lassen.
Die Vorlesungsreihe wird vorrangig auf deutsch durchgeführt (einzelne Vorlesungen werden nur auf englisch sein). Alle Prüfungsleistung können auf deutsch oder englisch abgelegt werden.
Die Vorlesung wird ab 11.04.2024 immer donnerstags in der 6.DS (16:40 Uhr - 18:10 Uhr) im Raum MOL/213/H stattfinden.
Ihr könnt in Präsenz oder online über Zoom teilnehmen. Die aufgezeichneten Videos veröffentlichen wir jede Woche auf dem Videocampus Sachsen.

Die Einschreibung für die Prüfungsleistungen ist ab dem 18.04. um 20 Uhr freigegeben.

Since the winter semester 2021/22, the course SustainAbility: Understanding and Implementing Sustainability, (formerly Basic Lecture on Ecological Sustainability) has been offered at TU Dresden. Organized by students, this lecture series offers the opportunity to deal with ecological sustainability from different perspectives.
The lecture is designed to reach as many people as possible. This means that high school students, freshmen, students of higher semesters as well as employees and seniors from outside the TUD can participate with or without previous knowledge without getting bored. Contents are presented in a low-threshold manner and are easy to understand. The basic lecture differs in this respect from the thematically more in-depth known environmental ring lectures of Tuuwi.
Students have the opportunity to link basic content with topics specific to their course of study. Since the topic is also highly relevant in the university context, students can receive credits within the framework of the studium generale for successful participation. In addition, the course can also be completed with an examination (3 credits in ECTS). Furthermore, it is possible to have this course credited for the Studium Oecologicum.

The lecture series will be held primarily in German (individual lectures will be in English only). All examinations can be taken in German or English.
Time and venue
The lecture will take place on Thursdays in the 6th DS (4:40pm - 6:10pm) in the room MOL/213/H from 11.04.2024 on.
You can participate in presence or join the lecture via Zoom. The recorded videos will be published every week on the Videocampus Saxony.
