Here is a selection of the most important buildings of the TU Dresden:

• SLUB - Saxon State and University Library Dresden for your literature research, Makerspace, exhibitions and much more,
• ServiceCenterStudies - for questions about applications, study requirements, re-registration and other organisational matters,
• Alte Mensa - the main refectory in the middle of the TU campus. In addition to the large refectory rooms, it combines a cafeteria (the Zebradiele), an event room and an examination room. 
• Other canteens - there's something for everyone, whether you're looking for a varied, vegetarian or vegan meal! It's harder to study on an empty stomach.
• Studentenwerk - is the point of contact for questions about studying, student finance, counselling services (legal, social, psychosocial) and offers information about the refectories, cafeterias and cultural and student services.
• StuRa (website in German) - is the student council of the TUD. They provide information about the semester ticket, the international student card and other current issues. You can also contact them if you have any questions about social counselling or financing your studies.
• International Office - is the central contact point for studying abroad, foreign students at the TU Dresden, cross-border cooperation, etc.
• Lecture Centre (Hörsaalzentrum – HSZ) – offers plenty of space for large lectures and university-wide events. Many of your exams will take place here. - here sits the university management
• University Executive Board - composed of the Rector, the Chancellor and three Vice-Rectors
• Dresden University Sports Center (Dresdner Hochschulsportzentrum - DHSZ) - is the university sports center and informs you about the current sports offer of the semester, the terms of use and their own events.
