Theory, Practice & Controversial Issues

Patent Law is one of the most exciting and important areas of law. However it is also one of the most challenging. Even experts might have difficulty in dealing with essential patent-related terms and principles like “technical invention”, “novelty”, “inventive step” or “scope of protection”.  Illustrated by means of practical examples the lecture will give an introduction to theoretical and practical aspects of Patent Law. It will also give an insight in the current patent law-related research of the IGEWeM.

The lecture will be in English.
