In the module 'Applied Remote Sensing in Geoscience'  (Angewandte Geofernerkundung) various applications of remote sensing in geoscience are presented and processed with the help of case studies. Topics are e.g.:

• Overview of Remote Sensing in the Geoscience
• Multi / Hyperspectral Remote Sensing
• Radar Remote Sensing (SAR)
  
• Digital Elevation Models
• Overview to important Missions and Sensors
• Spatial and Temporal Analysis and Modeling

In the exercises self-study case studies for the evaluation of multispectral and radar data are discussed.
