Communication & Surveillance
The module covers geodetic and cartographic principles, radio navigation/location system technology, inertial navigation, satellite navigation, the principles of procedure design, the principles of airspace utilization in relation to given capacities, airport coordination procedures, traffic flow control of network operations, tactical control measures of air traffic control as well as air traffic control operational services discussed and technology-based planning, organization and implementation of air traffic control and its future concepts, airborne and ground-based systems and technologies of communication and surveillance.
