Essential test approaches for recording the effects of chemicals on organisms will be taught. An understanding of exposure analysis enables the students to carry out an environmental risk assessment for chemicals. Monitoring of surface water quality and respective measures can be derived from the monitoring data. After completing the module, students will have a methodological bases of methods, necessary guidelines and directives in ecotoxicology important to work in science, or to communicate with environmental agencies, authorities and representatives from industry.
