Guide to German Language Courses at HTWD

 

 

  • You can earn five credit points in a German course. The requirement is regular and active participation in the course and completion of the portfolio tasks. You will receive further information from your teacher.

 

  • Please register for a German course via OPAL.
    You will receive access to the course material and all other important information during the semester via OPAL.

 

  • In some courses we work with the books “Netzwerk Neu”. You can borrow the books from the library or buy them from the HTW Thierbach bookshop. The bookshop is located in the Z-building (Z103) at the passage to the S-building.

  • The calender year comprises at least 52 weeks, wich are numbered as calender weeks (KW)
    • 1.week = odd week (ungerade Woche) (for example: 43. KW, 45. KW, 47. KW)
    • 2.week = even week (gerade Woche) (for example: 44. KW, 46. KW, 48 KW)
