Information - Sonderregelungen wegen Covid-19

Information and special regulations due to Covid-19

  • Please contact the organisers by email as soon as possible and before 08.04. if you would like to participate in the seminar.

  • In your registration email you should already select your 3 most favorite topics from the list
  • All topics contain a tutorial to exploit the statistics or analysis method yourself. This tutorial will be based on Python. The results of your own experience shall also be presented.

  • The first Seminar date on 08.04.2020 is reserved for organisational issues
  • The presentations will start on 15.04.2020
  • Instead of an organisational meeting, the tutors will contact you directly in order to discuss the presentation topic and your mini-tutorial  (1-to-1 by email, skype, Vidyo or whatever TUD communication tool will be made available)

  • The presentations will start as soon as in-person seminars are allowed again; the time until the start of the presentation series shall be used to prepare the talks and to go through the mini-tutorials

  • In case this period is shortened by too much the presentations will be organized as online events (e.g. by Vidyo; recorded presentations shall be made available by a video streaming service - if possible)

  • Due these special circumstances a registration in time is particularly important!

  • Presentations can be in German or English.
  • Duration: 45min + Discussion

  • The topics will be assigned after you have sent the registration email.
  • Keep in mind that your presentation can be already at the beginning of the lecture period!
