Prediction and Estimation Techniques

This lecture consists of a theoretical session, a tutorial and a project work. The main focus is on probabilistic estimation techniques with the intention of preparing students for advanced unsupervised learning.
In this lecture random variables, probability density functions, and various probabilistic estimation techniques such as minimum mean square estimation and Kalman Filter will be discussed. The lecture materials, including videos, are available directly from the TU Dresden's website. Some of the videos are accessible from YouTube.
