Seminar participation requires the identification of a current socio-economic problem from literature and/or media review followed by qualitative and/or quantitative system dynamics modeling approaches with tools that are introduced during the term. Results and insights from the modeling exercise and systems analysis should be transferred into sound socio-economic recommendations that are not harming the local and global environment. The system dynamics study will be discussed in a mid-term and final presentation and documented in a term paper.
