General information:
This course consists of a lecture (2 LVS) and an exercise (1 LVS). All lecture and exercise contents are relevant for the exam. Course and exam language is English.
According to contemporary ruling and planning, both the lecture and the exercise in the winter term 2022 / 2023 will take place on-site face-to-face. Therefore, there won´t be hybrid and online formats. However, all changes that might become necessary due to the pandemic situation (e.g., switch to online) will be announced on time here in this OPAL course.

Lecture:
The lecture takes place each Wednesday from 13:45 - 15:15 in room 2/W012 (new: C25.012), as can be seen in the course catalog (https://www.tu-chemnitz.de/verwaltung/vlvz/). Additional information, e.g., regarding guest lectures and Q&A sessions, will be posted in this OPAL course.
Attention: on Dec 14 we will have an online lecture instead of a lecture in presence (13:45 - 15:15). This lecture will be held via Zoom: https://eu01web.zoom.us/j/66916867156
The course material for the lecture will be provided in the folder "lecture material" in this OPAL course. Further, we provide a forum in this OPAL course for you to have an exchange with your fellow students about lecture and exercise contents. Course supervisors are not responsible for the exchange in the forum and will not participate in discussions there.

Exercise:
The exercise takes place bi-weekly (even calendar weeks) on Friday from 13:45 - 15:15 in room 2/W012 (new: C25.012), as can be seen in the course catalog.
Exercise material will be provided in the folder "exercise material" in this OPAL course.
Potentially required changes due to the pandemic situation will be posted here.

Exam:
The exam will take place on February 2nd 2023 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm in 2/N012.
The exam consists of single-choice and open-format questions. It will be available both in English and German and can be answered in both languages.
You are allowed to use a dictionary without any notes and a non-programmable calculator during the exam.
