Media Physics 22/23

The course gives a deeper insight into the relationships between information and physical media in general. The lecture includes: structures and their production, characterization and properties, information and modulation, noise and roughness, coding, scales, complexity and emergence, definitions of information, entropy, order, etc. In the seminar, students work on current topics with the help of current scientific publications from the lecture area and present and discuss the results in seminar papers.
