In winter semester 2023/24 I will offer a lecture on quantum information theory

• Quantum states, correlations, entropy and entanglement
• Quantum communication
• Quantum computation
• Decoherence and Dissipation
• Alternative quantum computers
• Quantum Thermodynamics

time and place:

• Mondays/Tuesdays 5. DS (14:50-16:20) @ BZW A 120
• prerequisites: motivation, linear algebra, quantum mechanics I, thermodynamics and statistics, (quantum mechanics II may be helpful)
• short notice: on Dec 18th and Dec 19th Prof. Schützhold will step in for the lecture
