Introduction to Computational Aerodynamics
Description:
This lecture serves as introduction to simulation of flows with a focus on exterior flow dynamics for aerospace engineering.
Students first reiterate basics of fluid flow and aerodynamics.
Then, the lecture presents numerical schemes for solution of the occurring equations.
Last, but not least, the students combine both parts in the exercises, where numerical simulation tools are employed and developed.

Einführung in die Grundlagen der Theoretischen Thermodynamik (thermodynamische Zustände, thermodynamische Prozesse, thermodynamische Potenziale, Zustandsgleichungen, Hauptsätze der Thermodynamik). Spezielle thermodynamische Systeme (ideales Gas, van-der-Waals-Gas, Joule-Thomson-Versuch, Phasenumwandlungen, Dampfdruckformel nach Clausius-Clapeyron, Gibbs’sche Phasenregel). Thermodynamik irreversibler Prozesse, Wärmeleitungsgleichung, Wärmekonvektion, Wärmestrahlung.
