SUUUpoRT - Discrete Elements and Programming of Microcontrollers

Students are enabled to understand, comprehensively focus on the fundamentals of working with sensors and actuators, controlled by microprocessors such as the ARDUINO platform. Participants will learn key concepts in interfacing sensors with microcontrollers, understanding discrete elements, and programming techniques to efficiently control various devices. Through hands-on projects and programming exercises, students will gain practical skills in designing and implementing systems that integrate sensors and actuators, empowering them to create interactive and responsive electronic applications.

 

Students become aware that of particular relevance on learning the architecture of a microprocessor system, methods of programming microprocessors, and the ability to use microprocessors and microcontrollers to solve practical problems in electrical engineering. Additionally, students will understand the principles of building microprocessor systems, determining main components, and developing algorithms and basic software modules for microprocessor control systems.

 

 LEARNING OUTCOMES / COMPETENCIES:

 

  • To know the architecture of a microprocessor system, methods of programming microprocessors, to be able to use microprocessors and microcontrollers to solve practical problems of electrical engineering.
  • Know the principles of building microprocessor systems and be able to determine the main components and develop algorithms and basic software modules of the microprocessor control system.
  • Ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems related to the operation of electrical machines, devices, and automated electric drives.
  • Skills in designing and creating intelligent electromechanical systems using modern microcontrollers.
  • The ability to analyze technical literature and justify decisions regarding the development of microprocessor systems, the creation of algorithms, and programs for the operation of the microprocessor to solve tasks related to data processing and object control.
