Writing Consultation

Here, you can sign up for the appointments for a Writing Consultation. 

You can talk to us as often as you want, but you can only sign up for two appointments at once. 

If the suggested times do not fit your schedule please contact Paulina to request an individual appointment (paulina.hoesl@tu-dresden.de)

Writing Consultations take place in German and in English and take place at Fritz-Foerster Building, room 109.

Hier kannst du dich zur Schreibberatung eintragen. 

Du kannst so viele Termine in Anspruch nehmen wie du möchtest, aber du kannst dich immer nur für 2 Termine gleichzeitig anmelden. 

Wenn dir die vorgeschlagenen Zeiten nicht passen, schreibe eine Email an Paulina für einen individuellen Termin (paulina.hoesl@tu-dresden.de)

Schreibberatungen finden auf Deutsch und auf Englisch statt. Sie finden im Fritz-Foerster Bau, Raum 109 statt.

Textfeedback 

Here, you have the possibility to receive written text feedback. These time slots are not actual appointments, but the sign up for a written text feedback.

Textfeedback supports the writing process, so the text does not need to be finished.

How can you receive textfeedback?

1. Sign in to a time slot of your choice. You will receive the written text feedback within this week.

2. Write an email to Paulina Hösl (paulina.hoesl@tu-dresden.de) to send your text and let her know which 5 pages of your text you would like her to read.

3. Paulina will get back to you with the written text feedback within the week.

 

Aspects to receive written feedback on

  • Overall impression of the text
  • Is the goal of the text clearly stated?
  • Formulations and Style
  • Linguistic correctness
  • Academic standards

Important information

You can receive feedback on up to 5 pages per sign up.

You can sign up for more than one feedback over time, there is no limit.

If there are more extensive issues to discuss for your text we will make an appointment for a Writing Consultation to talk about your text person to person. The appointment will be made individually.

Please send us your text as a Word document or PDF file so we can make the comments inside the document.
