Avscon - A very short course on ...

This is an online mathematical convention to obtain glimpses into various mathematical theories. In a series of small lecture courses of about 3 to 4 lectures in length. The lengths of the courses are supposed to be long enough to preset one overarching idea of a certain field or one particular aspect of the same. Thus, they are not intended to present all the details of a theory however; implying that information can only be provided up until a certain depth, which ideally means that all the participants can follow. The courses are not interdependent, so that each short lecture course can be understood on its own right. 

This course is aimed at interested students, graduates, doctorates, and professors from all over the world sharing a common interest in mathematics. During each summer semester, there will be up to 4 individual short courses presented by experts in the respective fields.

Lectures and lecture notes are presented starting from April. Please register with OPAL and subscribe to this OPAL course in order not to miss anything.
