TUBAFdigital - General Chemistry 2
TUBAFdigital - General Chemistry 2
In the GENERAL CHEMISTRY course module, students learn about important theories, laws, and concepts related to the structure and properties of inorganic substances, as well as the patterns that govern chemical reactions. Each topic includes theoretical materials and instructional videos on laboratory techniques, helping students develop skills in handling substances and conducting chemical experiments safely.
A major focus of the module is on fostering students' chemical thinking and broadening their worldview. Students will master essential chemistry theories and laws, gain an understanding of chemical transformations and substance properties, and become familiar with various laboratory methods and calculations. By the end of the course, they will also develop the ability to evaluate and summarize their experimental results.
LEARNING OUTCOMES / COMPETENCIES:
- Development of chemical thinking and a dialectical perspective
- Mastery of fundamental chemistry theories and laws
- Understanding the principles of chemical transformations and substance properties
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and chemical calculations
- Skills in evaluating and summarizing experimental results.
