EuI-NES-E-MSI - Materials for the Systemintegration - Lab Course

The lab course "Materials for System Integration" (EuI-NES-E-MSI) introduces several helpful tools and methods for the analysis of electronic components and devices. The aim of these indivudal labs is to gain hands-on experience with these methods in order to deepen the knowledge presented in the lecture. Those methods are fundamental for reliability anaylses often used in academic research or future engagement in the field of electronics manufacturing.

This lab course is identical to "Praktikum - Funktionsmaterialien der Aufbau- und Verbindungstechnik der Elektronik" (ET-12 06 05).

The lab course consists of the following 4 labs:

• Cross-Sectioning
• SEM/EDX - Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy
• Mechanical Tesing
• Finite Element Methode (FEM)
