NC-AutoBahn: Process Layout in Machining Applications

This is a survey on the application of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) in machining. The survey is conducted by the Chemnitz University of Technology, (CUT) in collaboration with Sandvik AB and up2parts GmbH. The CUT has sole control over the raw data at all times and only passes on content-related information to its partners in anonymized form.

The survey is performed as part of the joint research project “NC-AutoBahn”, funded by the ZIM-program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).

We kindly ask you for 19 minutes of your time to take part in this survey. Within this survey, we will ask you about your way of  designing a  process layout for an exemplary part. Doing so will help us to to train a tool which will be able to provide suggestions when  designing a new process layout. 

There are no foreseeable disadvantages or risks associated with participation.
