Help us build the next generation of digital campus services: we are inviting students to a 60–90 minute moderated focus group to test and discuss the across eCampus. You’ll get an early look at the beta and can influence how the platform will support students across the ACROSS universities. If you’ve ever thought “this should be easier” when dealing with university systems, this is your chance to change it.
This short questionnaire helps us select suitable participants for the focus group on the across eCampus and to compose a diverse group (e.g., with different roles, levels of experience, study/work contexts, and language needs). Completing the survey does not automatically confirm participation in the focus group. We will contact you by email shortly to let you know whether you have been selected for the final group.
What is across?
ACROSS is a European University Alliance of 9 universities in 4 cross-border regions, in which TU Chemnitz is a founding member. It aims to strengthen cross-border education, research, and regional engagement for students, staff, and lifelong learners.
What is the across eCampus?
The Across eCampus is the alliance’s developing digital campus environment, accessible via the across website with a dashboard as central entry point. It is intended to provide more reliable, connected and usable access to key services (e.g., learning offers/course catalogue, collaboration tools, mobility-related information) for students of all member universties, while considering multilingual needs and accessibility standards.
What we expect from participants
In ghe focus group, you will:
- describe typical study-administration tasks and which digital systems you use,
- share concrete recent situations (what worked / what was difficult),
- react to eCampus beta-version and concept ideas and suggest improvements (no technical expertise required).
Compensation
If you participate in the focus group, you will receive:
- an official certificate of attendance from the across alliance,
- 15 EUR compensation via bank transfer (Überweisung), and
- the option to be involved in the future as a “premium beta user” (early access and feedback opportunities for eCampus).
Participation is voluntary. With your consent, the session will be audio-recorded to support analysis.
