Experience in teaching quantum physics

In 1999 the GIREP Thematic Group on Teaching/Learning Quantum Physics (GTG-T/L_QP) was created, which since then has organized every year an initiative on Teaching/Learning Quantum Physics at the GIREP Congresses and Seminars: In the year of the Centenary of the birth of quantum mechanics we would like to offer the participants of the GIREP_EPEC Congress in Leiden an overview of the work done in GIREP also to study perspectives for a shared work in the GIREP network.

At the Leiden Congress there will be two plenary sessions dedicated to this topic: an invited talk to Rainers Mueller of the Quantum Flashshpft Community and a session with three invited experts to answer questions posed and comment on the main experiences carried out so far.

We have therefore prepared this investigation, which is divided into two parts

-          The collection of the existing experience in the GIREP on Teaching/Learning Quantum Physics

-          The identification of questions to be posed in the context of the GIREP_EPEC Leiden Congress and for future in-depth studies.

We invite all GIREP members to return this completed questionnaire by 15/5/25.
