Engaging Academic Societies in NFDI4Earth

Academic societies (Fachgesellschaften) play a key role in connecting researchers, fostering scientific exchange, and shaping discussions within the Earth System Sciences (ESS) communities. To strengthen the dialogue on FAIR and open research data, and to reach relevant scientific communities, NFDI4Earth aims to engage more closely with these societies.

With this survey, we would like to identify colleagues within the NFDI4Earth community who are members of or actively involved in ESS-related academic societies in Germany. Their expertise and connections will help us to better understand and build relevant communication channels and to develop targeted outreach activities, such as contributions to conferences, newsletters, journals, or other society-related formats.

The survey will ask you to provide your name and a contact email (optional). The information provided will be treated as confidential and will only be used to address follow-up questions or facilitate contact between NFDI4Earth and academic societies.
