Survey on the use of AI in the writing process among students

Generative AI and LLM are changing university teaching and academic writing and reading practices in the long term. This survey is aimed at students at TU Dresden and aims to record the use of generative AI in everyday study and writing on the one hand, and to create adequate support and educational formats for students on the other.

Welcome to the survey on the use of AI in everyday writing and studying. By participating, you will help us to create suitable support and educational formats on the topic of generative AI in the writing process. Please take 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey.

This survey is anonymous.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying token to access this survey, please rest assured that this token will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification tokens with survey responses.
