Space-S: Satellite Systems - Satellitentechnik MW-MB-LRT-07
In Part A we will define the key elements of a space mission in order to derive system drivers that drives our satellite design. We will focus on the functions of each satellite's subsystem and the main strategies to do their job. We will discuss some configuration examples and at the and we will compress the complexity of a spacecraft development into standardized development phases.
Part B focuses on the heart of every mission: the communication system. A satellite is pretty useless without communications. We address the geometry of the radio link, the satellite link budget, the antenna systems, the frequency bands, bandwidths, quality factors... What else do we need? Digitalization, Modulation and Multiple Access... And are you afraid of electro smog? Reasonably? We'll see!
Wir bieten diese Vorlesung im Sommersemester an!
