HPSTS 2 Personnel Psychology/ Dr. Dominika Wach

In this online block seminar, students will acquire knowledge and skills in selected topics of personnel psychology. The contents of this seminar will cover topics that deepen the knowledge acquired in the HPSTS-2 lecture. After an introductory session, we will focus on selected topics within the broad areas of selection, assessment (in particular intelligence and creativity), development, and new trends in Personnel Psychology. The seminar format requires the students’ active participation. It also puts strong emphasis on practical knowledge application and skill development (e.g., regarding employment interviews; coaching methods), and self-reflection. We also offer some “open topics” and can integrate ideas of students for the class. Similar to the HPSTS-1 seminar, there will be different options participants can elect to earn course credits (predominantly task forces and praxis projects).
