[WS23/24] Kollaborative Ringvorlesung Datenbanken

This lecture series will feature presentations by distinguished researchers from German universities on the topic of database research. Besides an overview of topics in the field, it will introduce excellent database research groups in Germany. The lecture series is a collaboration of many database research groups - including of course TU Dresden -  and will be offered at multiple universities in parallel. The format will be hybrid with local and remote presentations and a parallel student poster session at all participating universities - a national DB event.

It is organized by the Data Engineering Systems Group of Hasso-Plattner-Institut, Universität Potsdam.

Participants are required to prepare a poster and participate in the final poster session in Potsdam on 9 February 2024.

Costs for this joint trip (= "Exkursion") to HPI Potsdam will be covered by the chair of databases TU Dresden. 

Please register for participation until Monday 16 October (limited number of participants, first come first serve policy applies).

Time: Tuesdays, 17:00, weekly online lecture, 2 SWS, English language. 

Start on Tuesday 17 October 2023.
