Introduction to Computational Aerodynamics
German Aerospace Center (DLR) | Wintersemester 2024 / 2025
Introduction to Computational Aerodynamics
Description:
This lecture serves as introduction to simulation of flows with a focus on exterior flow dynamics for aerospace engineering.
Students first reiterate basics of fluid flow and aerodynamics.
Then, the lecture presents numerical schemes for solution of the occurring equations.
Last, but not least, the students combine both parts in the exercises, where numerical simulation tools are employed and developed.
Lecture:
Time | Monday, 5th & 6th (14:50 - 16:20, 16:40 - 18:10) |
Location | APB/E006 |
Exercise:
We aim to have pair programming exercises interposed with the lecture. The slot should be the same slot as the lecture itself.
Time | Monday, 5th & 6th (14:50 - 16:20, 16:40 - 18:10) |
