International Human Rights Law:
The course provides an in-depth overview of the development, contents and challenges of human rights law at the international and regional level. We will discuss the historical and philosophical underpinnings, relevant legal principles, substantive law, selected rights guaranteed, and institutions relevant to human rights. In addition, we will address current challenges and concerns, as well as emergent linkages of traditional human rights law to other relevant subject areas, such as climate change and business activities.
