Environmental Development and Risk Management

The module covers current issues, concepts and approaches in environmental development and risk management with regard to understanding and developing the spatial and temporal interlinkages between the Earth and societies in the Anthropocene. This includes the conceptualisation and model-based operationalisation of human-environment systems, foresight and integrated assessments, indicator-based mono- and multi-criteria evaluation as well as stakeholders with their institutional planning, management and governance contexts.
