You should use the research internship as practical preparation or as foundational work for your master's thesis. You are required to complete a practical task, which will culminate in a reflective internship report (length: approximately 5–15 pages, processing time: 6 weeks). The practical assignment aims to develop your ability to address a research-oriented problem over an extended period independently. Please consult with Professor Röhrbein to determine your topic.
