Advanced Modelling in Railway Transport Science

Students are able to understand and explain the most important research concepts, methods and their applications in rail transport science as well as the role of data analysis, simulations and optimization. They can apply research methods to real-world problems, analyze data and models of rail transport and design and develop a research study using quantitative or qualitative methods. Students can effectively communicate research findings orally and in writing and participate in collaborative research.
