This course offers an accessible introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), covering its fundamental principles and diverse types. Students will explore the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding AI and examine its applications in scientific research. The course also addresses ethical considerations and sustainability challenges, encouraging a reflective and responsible approach to the development and use of AI.
