Students are able to design market-oriented service delivery for rail freight and passenger transport using current methods, as well as understand, structure, develop, and implement the associated processes. They are capable of conducting relevant analyses and incorporating the results into planning and implementation. Furthermore, students can select necessary performance indicators and assess and describe the support provided by information and operational control systems. They can explain the impact of using process control and management control systems on railway network resilience, as well as the effect of objective functions when planning service delivery in rail transport. They are able to draw and present conclusions regarding service delivery in rail freight and passenger transport. Students develop fundamental organizational and leadership skills.
