The all new "Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der ET - Vertiefung" (fka Oberseminar) at the Communications Laboratory
Discover the ongoing research efforts in the new module. The project session will provide opportunities for students to gain insight into the latest research being conducted at our chairs.
Everyone curious about our current research endeavors is warmly invited to attend.
What's New!
The Oberseminar is now being offered jointly by 4 chairs of the Communication Laboratory

As part of the seminar, students will work on their own project and learn how to:
- Pitch – present their ideas convincingly
- Present – communicate their results clearly and in a structured way
- Defend – respond confidently to critical questions
In addition, students will gain insight into the projects of their fellow participants and, along the way,
learn how modern project work is done.We warmly invite all students to join this dynamic format – and to get a unique glimpse into the academic heart of our chairs!
General Information
- Tuesdays 14:50 – 16:20 BAR E85
- Starting 13.10.2026
- Compulsory course, 9. semester (usually in Winter Semester WiSe only, but we can offer something if needed)
- Module number: EuI-ET-C-WiArV
- 2 SWS Seminares, 5 LP/Credits
Exam
- Credit points are awarded once the module examination has been passed.
- The module examination consists of complex assessment consisting of several parts, related to a project of 90 hours.
