Fundamentals of Quantum Materials - A Practical Guide to Synthesis and Exploration 2021 World Scientific 4 book note: Last year, at least, it was possible to read it online from on campus, but saving it as a PDF for offline use was very tricky

Growth of single crystals from metallic fluxes Paul Canfield and Zach Fisk 1991 Taylor & Francis 5 article note: An article that reviews flux growth techniques, published at a time when flux growth was less common, intended to convince more people to use the technique. It worked. Covers relatively simple materials and isn't very long, but a good introductory reference.

Growth of single crystals from molten metal fluxes Zach Fisk and J.P. Remeika 1989 Elsevier chapter note: Book chapter that reviews growth from metal fluxes, particularly for rare earth compounds, published when flux growth was less common.
