Understanding Organizations: Theories and Applications
Contents:
Key classic and modern organization and strategy theories are introduced and used to reflect on and interpret cases and current issues facing organizations. This is done on the basis of the scientific foundations of the respective theories and the central areas of their application.
Qualification goals:
After the course students should be able to conduct theory driven analyses of current managerial and organizational challenges and the ongoing development of organizational forms. On the basis of such analyses students should be able to develop and evaluate managerial options and assess and critically reflect on the outcomes of interventions.
