Methods of artificial intelligence that are relevant for mobile robotics applications, in particular:
- Intelligent sensors
- Sensor fusion
- Object recognition
- Obstacle avoidance
- Path planning
- Navigation
- Multi-robot scenarios
Learning Outcomes:
The students are able to understand, apply and evaluate methods of artificial intelligence for mobile robotics applications. Furthermore, they are able to elaborate and present selected methods from the original literature.
Further Hints:
The emphasis is on independent acquisition of knowledge and its presentation. A corresponding graded presentation in the seminar is part of the module examination. In addition, a 60-minute written examination must be passed.
