Students are enabled to understand that that complex processes can be broken down into individual modules and connected to form a functional production line, demonstrating the concept of modular manufacturing.
Students become aware that, simulation and modeling are essential tools for understanding and optimizing real-world processes, allowing them to develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking in a hands-on and interactive way.
LEARNING OUTCOMES / COMPETENCIES:
- Acquaintance with the technological process, understanding the organization of the mechatronic module and its control system.
- Understanding the principle of building automated technological processes.
- Understanding the principle of construction of mechatronic devices of various types, understanding and analysis of the functional and principle control scheme.
- The ability to algorithmize the technological process.
- Understanding the principle of controlling mechatronic systems using a programmable logic controller (PLC).
- Ability to program PLC, create projects in the software environment.
