Scope: In this Seminar, technology-critical periodic elements of the 21st century will be discussed. Here, the respective periodic element that is considered as technology-critical element (TCE; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technology-critical_element) shall be introduced and then connected to the key (one or many) applications. Here, the TCE’s physical properties for as well as the physics of the key applications shall be presented. The talk should also include information about possible alternatives for the respective TCE.
