Content:
The seminar will be held in English and explores contemporary challenges and phenomena facing organizations through the discussion of relevant current research papers as well as your own research plans. Students are expected to discuss the focal texts in a critical manner. Moreover, each student is expected to present a potential research project plan which builds on the topic considered in the focal text.
Requirements:
The focal texts offer an introduction to the respective topics and must be read by all participants in order to both broaden their understanding of a range of key issues facing organizations and to ensure an insightful discussion within the seminar. Overall participation and performance in plenum discussions are required.
In preparation for the term paper, each student should participate in a compulsory consultation with the lecturer(s).

Assessment:
- Presentation (15 min) + discussion with the lecturers after the presentation (5–10 min).
- Term paper (6.000–8.000 words without appendix) on a topic of the seminar.
Prerequisites:
Basic familiarity with modern organizational theory and advanced familiarity with scientific work.
